Internet detectives quickly went to work trying to help cops track down the goon who allegedly threatened Stormy Daniels.
These online sleuths came up a host of names, but two immediately went viral: Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady and actor Willem Dafoe.
Others believe the man in the sketch more closely resembles actor Willem Dafoe.

Daniels, the porn star who claims to have had sex with Donald Trump, unveiled the sketch Tuesday on ABC’s “The View.” The sketch is of the man who Daniels claims approached her in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011 and warned her to keep quiet about the alleged affair with Trump. She was with her infant daughter at the time.
Daniels’ lawyer is even offering up a $100,000 reward for information on the mystery thug.
“I remember him saying, ‘that’s a beautiful little girl, it would be a a shame if something happened to her mom,” Daniels repeated on Tuesday. “‘Forget about this story, leave Mr. Trump alone.'”
ESPN’s Jemele Hill joined the chorus of folks who made the immediate connection between the man in the sketch and the Pats’ pretty-boy QB.
“Uh is it just me or does he kind of look like Tom Brady?” Hill asked on Twitter.
“Tom Brady doing Trump dirty work on the side,” added Robert Littal of Black Sports Online, “really is the GOAT (greatest of all time).”
“Tom Brady, call your office,” tweeted Boston Globe politics guy Matt Viser. He then added a side-by-side comparison from 2011.
“Tom Brady is a really great friend,” offered up another as the Patriots QB has a well-publicized relationship with the president. Brady even had a “Make America Great Again” cap in his locker leading up to the 2016 election.
“I support all my friends in everything they do,” Brady said before the election in an interview with Boston’s WEEI. “I think it’s pretty remarkable what he’s achieved in life.”
While Brady won the popular vote among the amateur facial-recognition experts, Dafoe had his support as well.
“Readers are saying Willem Dafoe and Tom Brady,” wrote Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake. “If I was either one, I’d be lawyering up.”
Another was already calling for the reward money.
“Stormy Daniels released a composite sketch of the man that threatened her and is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can identify the perpetrator. … It’s Willem Dafoe. Pay me.”
