FOX continues to bolster its NFL coverage.

Just weeks after inking a five-year deal to broadcast Thursday Night Football games, FOX will also be televising the 2018 NFL Draft, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

ESPN will still have its own live coverage of the draft, which begins April 26 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, but FOX will air the NFL Network’s feed.

The decision to bring the NFL Draft to a prime-time broadcast network is just another step in the league’s efforts to create more fanfare and attention surrounding the event.

The league first moved the draft to begin on a Thursday night in 2010 and in 2016 they began to move it outside New York City, bringing it to Chicago and Philadelphia.

Last year, more than 70,000 fans attended the first round of the draft, and with it being held at AT&T Stadium and shown on a major broadcast network, the NFL probably anticipates an even bigger audience.
